Pin-Up Girls in Paris! Help me and GDG make this dream art show happen!
Hi Everyone!
I’m happy to announce that I’ll be traveling to Paris this May for my first international art show with the lovely women of Girls Drawin’ Girls! We’ll be doing a pin-up girl themed art show at the esteemed Gallerie Arludik!
Since 2006, this group has been an outlet for women artists to express themselves artistically, and to express their own femininity and sexuality in a predominantly male dominated industry. We have worked long and hard for this opportunity, and this show in Paris is the push through the door to take our mission to the next level.
We have created a Paris Etsy store to offset some travel expenses to give artists participating in the show a chance to be a part of their amazing accomplishment. Please visit the store here if you would like to make a purchase. TONS of fun things on there that members donated: art prints, custom drawings, jewelry and more! All handmade by the members!

Personally, I am offering sketches in the style of my webcomic, Pole Dancing Adventures. (I’m proud to say that the blog really took off in 2012 and has gathered quite a following! The sport/dance has changed my life in such an inspirational way.) I rarely do commissions, so here’s a chance to grab one! I also have a generous donation from Metamorphosis: Mind Body and Pole for a group of 10 classes.
Please take a moment to browse some incredible products and artwork from this fantastic group of women artists! And if you can’t make a purchase today, please share the store on Facebook, tumblr, or forward this email to your friends. Anything helps!
Thank you for your support throughout the years. I’m truly blessed to have friends like you! -
This is my piece for the upcoming Press Paws show at Gallery Nucleus next month! The theme is “animals in video games.” I loved the idea of painting Cait Sith because not only is Final Fantasy 7 my favorite RPG, but I also have a sweet tuxedo cat of my own. He was adopted from a local Los Angeles shelter at 2 months old and he’s been my best fuzzy friend ever since!
PRESS PAWS is taking place on February 9th, 2013 at Gallery Nucleus
All the proceeds for the show will go towards What’s Up Dog LA! Saving animals is a great cause in my book and I’m proud to be a part of this show.
And just for the heck of it, maybe you might like to listen to his theme while checking out my artwork. Haha! -
Come out, have drinks and check out the Pop-Up Show with Girls Drawin’ Girls at “Sunday, Bloody Sunday!” June 10th Moms Bar in Santa Monica. :D
I’ll have something drawn up for this. ;)
